Scott graduated in 1993 with a Bachelors degree from Pace University in Westchester, NY. In the late 1990’s, Scott was responsible for designing, launching and managing one of the nation’s premier training facilities where he also led the Strength and Conditioning program.
In 2001, Scott was approached by the PGA Tour to take on the new role as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the PGA and Champions Tours. In his 10+ year tenure, he continues in the role of the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Visionworks Fitness Trailers that travel week-to-week on both the PGA and Champions Tours. In this role, he is a well respected and trusted partner who trains the most accomplished golfers in the world on a week-to-week basis.
Scott has designed several golf-fitness training facilities in Europe and the United States and has also designed home training centers for many of the PGA and Champions Tour professionals. In 2009 he was named the Golf Performance Advisor at CYBEX International.
In addition to working with the best golfers in the world, Scott has also worked with many of the most elite college golf teams and coaching staffs in the country including: Ohio State University, UCLA, Arizona State, and McNeese State (Louisiana).
His golf-fitness expertise has been featured in multiple publications as well as several TV spots. Throughout his tenure, Scott has been featured in TV programming for ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, The Golf Channel, and a show entitled “Inside the PGA Tour”. He has been featured in publications including Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, Golf World, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Men’s Fitness, The Bergen Record, The Augusta Chronicle, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the PGA Tour Annual Yearbook.
