Jason is the Director of Golf Instruction for the New Jersey Golf Academy, located at Essex Golf Center in Roseland, N.J. A member of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers” rankings of the top 40 teachers under 40 for the last six years, Jason has spent the past several seasons working with all levels of golfers, including professionals on the PGA Tour, European PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. Some of Jason’s past and present students include Jim McGovern, Oliver Wilson and Alexandre Rocha.

Jason was the director of the Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program from 2003-2007, where he oversaw the opening and operation of new junior facilities throughout the Northeast. He also designed the Jason Birnbaum Junior Golf Camp, which attracts serious junior players from around the New York metropolitan area. For his work with juniors, Jason was recognized in 2012 and 2014 by U.S. Kids Golf as one of the Top 50 Kids Teachers in America. He currently owns and operates All-Star Golf Camp, an overnight, sleepaway program located at the Seaview Resort in Galloway, N.J.

Through some of his corporate clients, including Mercedes Benz and Bank of America, Jason has traveled around the world teaching all levels of golfers. Among the countries he’s taught in recently are Canada, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil and Australia. Jason has been featured in a variety of national and local golf publications and newspapers, including Golf Digest, Golfweek, The Met Golfer, New Jersey State Golf Association Magazine, and The Bergen Record. He has also been a guest on Sirius/XM PGA Tour Radio.
